It is so important that, as makers, designers and creatives selling handmade products, we capitalise on the humanness of our brands. We may not be able to compete with the big faceless brands on price or warp-speed delivery, but we aren’t about that.

The big brands can’t compete with us small business superstars on our excellent customer service or the uniqueness and quality of our products.

This is why you need to be writing thoughtful hand written thank you notes and sending things wrapped beautifully.
